Together, we’ll soak up the magic of Budapest at Christmas, wandering through the enchanting markets around St. Stephen’s Basilica and Vörösmarty Square, browsing handcrafted gifts, sipping forralt bor, and sampling festive Hungarian treats. During the day we’ll explore the fairytale setting of Buda Castle, admire the winter views from Fisherman’s Bastion, and step inside the beautiful Matthias Church, all wrapped in seasonal charm. Day One | Hello Budapest
Arrive in Budapest and enjoy a relaxed breakfast before beginning your first explorations of the city’s historic streets and vibrant culture. As evening falls, unwind with a sunset cruise along the Danube, taking in the city’s illuminated landmarks before we explore Budapest's famous Christmas Markets.
Day Two | Budapest's Historic Highlights
Explore Budapest wrapped in festive sparkle, from Buda Castle to the winter views at Fisherman’s Bastion and the twinkling beauty of Matthias Church. Wander through charming Christmas markets filled with handcrafted gifts, mulled wine and sweet chimney cake, soaking up the joyful holiday atmosphere. Enjoy a cosy lunch before unwinding in one of the city’s iconic thermal baths (optional), then gather for a festive dinner and a lively evening out beneath the glow of Christmas lights.
Day Three | Farewell Budapest
Enjoy a relaxed morning at leisure, wandering boutique shops, tucked-away courtyards and café-lined streets, before departing for home or join us for more Christmas attractions in Vienna and Prague.
